Trystan

This sweet, rambunctious and hilarious little boy of mine started preschool today!!! He was so excited this morning and we were so glad. I was hoping he would be excited but secretly prepared for the meltdowns of all meltdowns with this nervous nellie! He rocked it like a Rockstar though!! So proud of him. He came home saying "I love school",  "I want to go all day every day" He looks so grown up in his uniform. He only has to wear it on Monday's. Wednesday and Friday are free dress. When I asked him about his day he said "it was awesome, except for we had to sit in the hall and wait to be picked up.  I went dinosaur speed across the Monkey bars and they let three people on them at a time. I played with playdough and when it was time to clean up I watched the other kids clean everything up!!" This was music to my ears as a week ago he was screaming, yes screaming, at me that he was not going to school ever and there was no way he was going to like it!! My little pessamist:) ((he doesn't get that from me!))

We were both excited that daddy was able to go in late this morning so that he could come with us to drop off. Drop off is done via car line. The teachers come get your child out of the car and take them to the classroom then at the end of the day they bring the kids back out to their parents' vehicle's. Taylee was rather concerned when some woman got Trystan out of the car this morning and we drove away. All the way home she kept saying "bubby?, Bubby?" Love that those two love each other and look out for one another already! I am so proud of our little man!

Gilcrease Orchard!

The kids and I went on a little adventure to pick our own fruits and veggies this morning. We drug Grandma along as well. Trystan wanted to just walk all the way up and down the rows. Taylee was not to keen of the long dry grass piled up everywhere and wanted to be carried. She did ride in the wagon for a bit but preferred grandma or I's arms but we had a good time. We went early and its a good thing we did because by 830 we were all hot and sweaty! 

 Taylee ran full speed off my bed last night and the leg of the computer chair broke her fall! She has a beautiful Shiner to the left eye;)

We ended up with a cantalope, onions, apples, pears and squash. Grandma picked a couple of tomatoes and got some zucchini flowers. The apples are tiny but delicious. We bypassed the eggplant, peaches, and Okra, and were sad that we didn't find any cucumbers. Then we had homemade apple cider doughnuts with cinnamon butter icing that were amazingly delicious! I think we will be going back to this place!
